Guest guest
Interesting. I guess if you knew you had stenosis without needing disc replacement. I know they are doing the following procedure now where I work. http://www.fda.gov/cdrh/mda/docs/P060018.html It is done with the anterior approach as well. Guest guest
This is not something I'm familiar with. We didn't do any minimally invasive surgery on a regular basis in Boston. As of last year, they hadn't developed a good technique. The one thing that is an issue with minimally invasive surgery, when it comes to spine, is that the docs are working in a small area with very poor visibility. Because of this, the liklihood for mistakes is much higher. There's a lot of nice, juicy nerves just outside the field of view, which are now highly susceptible to damage. I'm not saying don't go for it, simply...be informed. --- ________________________________ From: Ivan <darkrabbit2003@...> spinal problems Sent: Saturday, October 11, 2008 11:41:45 AM Subject: Jho procedure for Cervical Stenosis Surgery Hiya, Has anyone here heard of this Jho procedure for Cervical Stenosis Surgery ?
