Coming out of lurking mode ... Aqua Therapy question

I had 2 discs removed in February. At that time, my surgeon noticed that four

nerves were severely damaged (C3, C4, C5 and S1). I have had no relief from the

pain and actually have gotten worse. I started seeing a neurosurgeon instead,

feeling like my other surgeon (ortho.) was brushing me off and minimizing my

suffering. He did an MRI and states that the discs are still herniated and

actually 4 more are now too. He feels it is too soon to do another surgery,

which I totally agree with, I do *not* want another one.

He wants me to do aqua therapy and wanted to know how others have done with

it. He also wants me to start seeing a pain management doctor, who I see on the

23rd. What medicines have worked for others? The herniated discs are all

lumbar. I have been on Lortabs for a year now and they are no longer working

that effectively, so I want to know what else I have for options. I have had 3

nerve blocks and 1 facet joint injection and none of them brought any relief.
