Guest guest
From the April 1-15 Tricare update: * TRICARE Coverage of Percutaneous Vertebroplasty and Kyphoplasty:* As of 1 May 2008, Percutaneous Vertebroplasty and Kyphoplasty will be a covered benefit. It is retroactive to 1 March 2007. These procedures used for the treatment of painful osteolytic lesions and osteoporotic compression fractures refractory to medical treatment, are becoming the preferred procedures by TRICARE/TFL beneficiaries. To read about this full benefit, go to the TRICARE Policy , Chapter 4 / Section 6.1. So, it looks like I might be able to get my kyphoplasty.
