I filed 3 months ago and soon will have an exam by one of the SSA's

Physicians.

I understand it's pretty rare the 1st time to become approved and am

wondering, for those of you who were successful...what did it take?

I have degenerative disc disease, Facet disease, diabetes Type II

insulin dependant, spinal stenosis, cervical radiculopathy and a buncha

other crap too boring and long to list - LOL.

Pat,

It takes thorough documentation...which shows ongoing disability. I was

approved the first go around by myself. I was approved with in three

months, Why did they ask for an exam with a SSA doc. Whatever you do do

not allow the doc or any examiner to come into your home. When they call

you on the phone and say how are you ...dont say fine. Beware, they usually

tape all phone calls...refuse to be taped OR ask the caller if it is ok for

you to tape conversation as well..when asked that question they usually get

off the phone.

What is your age and what kind of work did you do?
