I am post anterior dicsectomy w/fusion c5-6. Oct 29, 2002 was my

surgery date. Went home the 31st feeling alittle weak and sore but

otherwise not bad considering. The endocet makes me nauseous but I

only take pain meds when I am really uncomfortable. I am in a Miami

collar for 6 weeks, with soft collar for sleeping. No instumentation.

My shoulders ache and inbetween my shoulder blades also. Ive tried

ice and heat nothing works great.Any suggestions? Other Meds? I feel

like a little old lady....LOL

<G> Your last line got me! I too feel this way, but my problems are all

the way at the other end of the spectrum. I'm thinking that the endocet is

a drug? You should ask your Doc for a different kind that you are able to

tolerate a little better. There are tons of options out there. Right

after my first surgery, my Doc gave me Mepergan Forte(SP?) and after some

hallucinations, we went with Tylox instead :) If you were further along in

your healing process, then this might not be necessary, but given you have

a little ways to go....there is no need to go thru it in pain. Hope you

find some relief ;) And welcome to the group!

Ask me about my new MSM lotion for aches/pains!

  • 6 years later...

yes I guess that is part of what its all about...Its very deep pulling out those

roots! In the end though it is worth it what do we have if we have no

health?BlessingsCassAustraliaIn any event, it seems that the crutches I've used

to deal with adrenal fatigue are now being pulled from under me, and I find that

scary.

Does anyone have a similar story? Anyone learn to deal with adrenal fatigue and

psoriasis at the same time?

Thanks

Ricky
