Guest guest
Just what I needed, NOT!!!On my way home from f/u visit neurosurgeon, MRI results 12/06/2007. A woman ran a red light, hit my car broadside @ 40 mph, car had to be towed. Me- neck pain began W/I one hour. ER visit: Torn neck ligaments, doc offered flexeril, refused. I am on enough stuff! Attending PT 2 x week to relieve pain and strengthen neck, upper back muscles. Heat & Ice as needed. PCP was willing to get involved, thank goodness, I've heard that is very difficult! I had the numbness/tingling before the accident, but NO pain. I also was very lucky to have a witness come forward at the scene. Police Report: States it was not my " fault. " Hired attorney as this is my first accident and the paperwork is unreal! My car has " minor " frame damage, will still take another 3 wks. to repair! I do have a rental thru HER insurance co. I have to find an orthopedist, having some difficulty with that. Will need to contact PCP again, orthopedist she rec. " doesn't do necks and backs. " Although I had been to him for R hip pain in 2003! Any suggestions, advice, truly appreciated! Of course I had just paid my car off:)Oklahoma laws.... Thank you, Donna
