Guest guest
Regina, yes they do make Ezekial tortillas. They don't roll as nicely as wheat, but they have a nice hearty flavor. I've also been using rice wraps, round like tortillas, very thin - an Asian thing, from Viet Nam and Thailand I think. I buy these at the Asian market. All you have to do is soak it in water for a few minutes and it is ready to use. Kate ----- Original Message ----- From: Jolley Feathers Thank you for all the information WISH.. I did find out that they make ezekal hamburger and dog buns.. Do they make tortias as well? The bread was dry so I will try your suggestions. Even with the dr. pepper at lunch.. my acid reflux is not as bad as normal this afternoon Regina

Guest guest
If you can......do as much as you can while sitting when your knees are bad. As the weight comes off, your knees will be able to handle your new weight better! Exercise tapes while sitting, some weight lifting (you can use soup cans), and according to some calorie burning lists.....there are things that take more calories then just sitting....typing us letters for one. And do things like hold good posture..... this burns more than a slump, deep breathing is another, hold that tummy and butt in while sitting there. I call it "find those muscles" !! My son did a small school special Olympics the other day at school.....threw a Frisbee, did a race on a bike. It was all very fun and exciting. Kate Re: I am new > Hi, nice to meet you. Guest guest
>I would like to find the ones that i can do in a chair. Besides the site Ann sent you to, you can look for 's 2 videos, Reach for Fitness (1986) or the newer Sit Tight (2001). Amazon.com has both of these videos. Bliss (http://www.kellybliss.com) also has 3 different sitting videos, all specifically made with the larger woman in mind. If you want a gentler tape, there's always Yoga for Round Bodies (also at or at http://plusyoga.necaweb.com/Y4RBframe1.html) or BIG MOVES: Yoga for Chair and Bed (available at http://www.miragevideos.com/bmyfcab.htm). Guest guest
Ben here, 73 yr young and overweight facing a hip replacement. Wow, 130 llbs in five months. For my RHR need a 60 llb drop and am slowly getting my weight down. Recently went to the atkins diet to see if I could kick up the loss, and I am doing about 3 llbs per week, which is pretty good for me, but still long way to go. My mobility is pretty bad with a bad hip, right knee and compounded by severe arthritis. Did you notice any improvement in mobility with 130 llbs off? Looks like you have a well thought out plan, and will follow with interest your progress. Ben F. I am New Hi to All; As the subject says I am new here. Let me tell you about me,I am 60 years old, have had Gas. bypass on 7/15/03. I am very happy I did it as now they can fix my right hip.To date I have lost 130 lbs. On Jan.5,2004 I am having a THR on the right side. I have read the posts of late and some of the back things. I hope the things you all have said as to the pain stopping in the hip soon after is for real. I will read as much as I can and hope all goes as well you have said.I am going to give my blood on 12/16 & 12/23. My per test is on 12/22 and my Dr.will ok on 12/29. Till then I will read on you have to say. Thank you all for your help.

Left thehospital on crutches 4 days later. Soon went to onecrutch and have been on a cane for almost a week. Youwill have pain on and off but it will be less than thepain that you are having now. It gets progressivelybetter almost every day. While I still cannot do manythings, I know that I will be able to do them in thenear future. It is worth it. Good luck. Keep thespirits up. Guest guest
, Are you saying you had weight loss surgery? I did too, 3 yrs ago and shed 85 lbs in less than a year without having to work at it. Best thing I ever did and the weight will never come back. This is the best thing in order to get the knee replacement and/or hip replacement surgery and not have to worry about returned weight later down the road Judie Re: I am New Hi Ben; The weight I lost was do to having surgery to do it. Guest guest
Hi Holly I'm sorry to hear that you've had so much trouble with the ANS system I've only had my system for 4 months but it is working great I had the radio frequency stimulator put in It is a pain sometimes having to attach the antenna to the back of my hip but the pain relief has been worth it I hope that you can get approved for the Medtronic's stimulator and that it will help you I don't know why these systems work on some people and don't work on others but maybe they will find out so that they don't have to put people who have a poor chance of success through the implant surgery Take Care Hugs and Prayers Leo I am new Hi everyone, If you read my post that was to . You can see what kinds of trouble I have had with a ANS system. Now in the process in trying to get my insurance to approve a Medtronic System. When I was able to get relief from stimulation my pain went from a 8- 10 to a 0-3 that was only on my bad days it would go to a three. The reason why I use a stimulator is due to nerve damage from a teatherd spinal cord. The surgery help stop my bladder from getting worse. But it didnt fix the pain or the bladder. Oh it also helps control the bladder when I have less pain I have less bladder problems. Oh I am 28 years old and with the tarlov cyst and teathered cord release also the stimulator surgeries. I have had six back surgeries all together. I am so happy that I found this group and people that can relate to me in what I have been going through. take care Holly
Guest guest
Celexa is a better drug, IMHO. Lexapro is way too potent per millagram in comparison to Celexa.
