Most of you have a 2 or 5 million dollar cap on your policy. Check it out for

yourselves, just call the insurance company. I am sure like all else, after

Genentech has recouped the 30-35 million it spent bringing Xolair through FDA

certification, the dollar amount will drop, & saves your life long dollars.

Keep your Chin up, at $36,000 a year, it would take 55.56 years to meet your

lifetime maxiumum. By then we'll have a cure. We get closer evey day.

I have BCBS of Alabama and was checking for my brother who is on the same

policy. After a few weeks in ICU, massive brain surgery, and gamma knife

treatment to see what the lifetime maximum was since he had seen the

outrageous bills coming in, I found that it was $1,000,000 for each covered

member, but it also states that it " applies only to Other Covered Services,

Non-PPO Outpatient Hospital Services, Non-PPO Physician Services, Mental

Health and Substance Abuse Physician Services " . I called the local office

just to be sure, and apparently that's correct.
