Guest guest
I have been reading the posts over the past couple of days & there is so much to talk about. First I want to say a special thanks to S. for the phone call...to R. for arranging for Betty Ochoa to come & visit. OK...here goes...for Pamela " Yes " I am the Kathy that walked like an old lady prior to revision. My before pics are in the photos section. You won't have that little " swish " to your walk anymore, but I think I walk GREAT now after revision. For , I fall into the category of being perimenapausal prior to revision. My periods were no longer regular. I haven't had a period since right before my first big surgery 3 years ago...at the age of 46. I was so glad to see R. posting. My physical therapist gave me the bum's rush out the door when I stopped in to see her. I hope your recovery is going well. As for me...I'm not NEAR as peppy after my anterior than I was after my posterior. I had everything all planned out...with one mistake. My plan was to get to the airport and have an attendant set me up with a wheelchair. It's a great idea...if you have someone your know pushing the chair. Since I was traveling alone, I was at the mercy of the attendant...which managed to hit every crevas & bump at full speed ahead. So needless to say, it felt like I got body punched repeatedly by a professional boxer!!! I think R. said already that I didn't exactly get ant anterior approach. My incision is in the soft spot on my left side, right above my hip & right below my rib cage. It hurts ALOT more than I expected. So this time I won't be posting any miraculous recovery stories. I just thank God that I had my first BM today LOL. I'm just so glad to be home & talking to all of you again. Sincerely........................Kathy
