Guest guest
Suzanne,Oh my goodness! How scary, and I'm sorry you are hurting so badly. Hopefully it's just a reaction to the hard jolt, and will calm down with time. Maybe see if you can send your CT films to Bridwell for a looksee. Car accidents scare me, I got hit in the side of my car a couple of years ago, I had a terrible headache, but it went away in a couple of days, I was lucky. Do let us know how you continue to feel, and know I'm thinking about you.I'm guessing you prized little car is totaled? I'm so sorry, you so loved that car! I stayed put until the rescue crew could secure my head, neck and back. Saw a PA at the emergency room. They did a ct scan of my head, neck and abdomen. No internal bleeding, so they sent me home with lortab and flexiril. They gave me dilaudid by IV. When I finally woke up this afternoon, I had a massive headache, backache and neck ache. The PA (and presumably the radiologist) said everything looked fine, but I am not entirely convinced. Two weeks ago was my 4th year after revision with Dr Bridwell. It was a horrifying experience to hear a loud noise, feel the jolt and start spinning. I thnk I am lucky to have gone in rear first and I had bought a new seat belt a cople of months ago. Please know that we are all hoping you have a speedy recovery with no serious or long lasting consequences. I hope they are able to " save " your Miata! Please let us know how you are feeling in the coming days. Take Care, Cam > > Somebody rear ended my miata while I was making a right turn today. Guest guest
I just spotted this post! Is there something in the air around here?Landing in a ditch does not sound fun. Hope you're OK, Suzanne. Maybe we should get together (with someone else driving) and toast to being alive! Here's the link to my metal sculpture (as Adam has been referring to it)
