Guest guest
Somebody rear ended my miata while I was making a right turn today. He hit me very hard and my car spun around in circles and went rear first into a concrete ditch. The force knocked my glasses off. I immediately had horrible pain in the lower left side of my back/ pelvis area where most of my pain originated before surgery. Fortunately, the headrest on my seat is taller than my head. I stayed put until the rescue crew could secure my head, neck and back. Saw a PA at the emergency room. They did a ct scan of my head, neck and abdomen. No internal bleeding, so they sent me home with lortab and flexiril. They gave me dilaudid by IV. When I finally woke up this afternoon, I had a massive headache, backache and neck ache. The PA (and presumably the radiologist) said everything looked fine, but I am not entirely convinced. Two weeks ago was my 4th year after revision with Dr Bridwell. It was a horrifying experience to hear a loud noise, feel the jolt and start spinning. I thnk I am lucky to have gone in rear first and I had bought a new seat belt a cople of months ago.
