Guest guest
I SERIOUSLY can't thank you ladies enough. It is still so new to me, to have someone to talk to about my back problems. Without you guys, I would probably still be flailing around trying to find a doctor who could help me. And just look at me now...standing all nice & straight & tall again. I do think I have a bit of PTSD or maybe a little post surgical depression. It is really nice to hear that something like creaking is not unheard of. I'm so used to my symptoms being the start of a disaster. I would be a lot more worried if it was causing pain. So thanks again for helping me stay level headed, instead of feeling cursed. PS : other than creaking, I am doing well in my recovery, & visit my treadmill each day. .................................Kathy Hi Kathy,It doesn't necessarily mean failed hardware. My back constantly creaks and pops and everything is fine with it. I used to say I can "hear" my hardware moving...I did get a few crazy looks but now I guess I am used to it. C > > Well ladies...it's a good thing I have my 6 week post-op visit with Dr Hu in 3 days. I noticed after I got home from my anterior surgery that my tailbone creaked when I walked. Now it creaks more & louder. I'm not in any pain, but I'm now afraid of getting bad news on my visit. I have a feeling she is going to tell me that either I have a failed fusion or a loose screw. If I'm fused to the sacrum, how else can my tailbone creak? I keep thinking about that rough wheelchair ride at the airport after I was released from the hospital. Please keep me in your thoughts & prayers. I will post as soon as I get home from San Francisco........................Kathy>
