Dear Member,Edie had her revision with Dr. Bendo, loved him, and at last posting was doing well. I believe she has her story under member stories in the FILES section, and her pictures are in the PHOTO's section under Edie, you will find pictures of her there post revision back at her hobby of diving, complete with gear. Edie, moved on with life, and doesn't post here anymore, but I can try to contact her, since she and I got to be good friends while I mentored her through her surgery.

Dear JLS,

As said, Edie had surgury with Bendo and liked him and her results very

well. also had a consult with him before he moved to Texas and also found

him to be very professional and helpful.

I have heard of Cammisa and Cunningham, but I cant recall specifically anyone

consulting them or having surgery with them. You can use the search feature on

the group to see if anything pops up. Am I recollecting correctly that they are

at HSS?

Take Care, Cam

Hi,

I only know of Dr. Cammissa and what I know is that flatback revision

surgery is not his specialty. He is more of a general spine surgeon.

He operated on my ex-husband once for for stenosis and then for a

herniated disc. He is at Hospital For Special Surgery where one of

the finest flatback revision doctors operate: Dr. Oheneba Boachie. He

is far more experienced than Dr. Cammissa. i'm surprised that Dr.

Camissa would even attempt revision surgery. That's not to say he is

not a good surgeon. He has an excellent reputation, but he didn't get

his excellent reputation from performing flatback revision surgeries.
