Hi Steve - I agree with Cam. Something just doesn't sound right. Sorry I don't remember...who did your surgery? My "supposed" expert doctor that crippled me 3 years ago, said it was "impossible" to cut my rods & replace the lower halves to correct my flatback. Well KUDOS to Dr Hu !!! That's exactly what she did. I'll have my "after" pics up shortly........................Kathy

Steve,5 months post op seems extremely early to be declaring your revision a failure. How did they determine that the pain was coming from your implants?Sorry to hear that you are still in so much pain.Take Care, Cam

Kathy,

Sorry i was so long getting back to you but I had a trip over to Tamp to see surgeon.

Don't worry we are not doing anything soon. The bottom line is we are gonna be having some insurance issues in Nov. I have carrying Cobra for last 2 yrs. And in Nov. the time has ran up. So anything we have to have done has to be done in Sept by the latest.

Surgeon in Tampa is also saying " lets wait and see what happens". Surgeon here says " i can do the job if it comes to that".

So there you have it. I don't know what else to do. I know my body and i know that the pain issue is not relieved with this revision.

So onward i go.

Thanks,

SS

P.S. does anyone know of somebody who has had the hardware removed?
