Hello All,

I just spoke with Kathy over the phone. She is doing well.

Her incision for this anterior surgery ended up begin from the side, (above her

hip), so that side is, understandably, painful right now. But besides that, she

is very happy that the surgery went really well.

As you read from , Kathy got up yesterday and stop by to visit . So

she has been up, is in great spirits and is very excited to go home tomorrow!.

She sends hellos to everyone here!

Wow! Dr. Hu IS A MIRACLE WORKER! She (Kathy)was talking about going home Thurs,

or Friday? Let me know which it is, . (I have trouble pinpointing the

exact day because I read this the next day. Also my brain tumor effects

(handicaps) still make me confused, too!So bear with me!)

I had my revision (posterior) first, and then had the anterior (front) 1 week

apart. I went & had my surgery on Tues., and had the second surgery on the next

Tues. There was NO WAY that I could get up & visit people the day after surgery!

I remember that I had to leave my head down (and not get up) because of a spinal

fluid headache. Maybe I could see people several days(maybe 4 or 5 days)later.

But not the next day!! Has Dr. Hu (or Berven) improved this surgery now, or

what? I had my surgery in Mar. 2007. Just wondering---?!
