Guest guest
Margarita, I had my revisions in 2000 and 2002, with Dr. Anant Kumar in Denver, with Dr. O'Brien assisting( he now is in Texas). Yes I had my lordosis restored. I have a very long fusion mass, T1 to the sacrum, so only my neck isn't fused. My photos are in the Photo's section on the site itself, I'm K. I have little forward lean due to a connector, my hardware is a bit weird, but do fine with a golfers bend, and am able to get most things off the floor. I do have trouble getting at my feet, for clipping nails, and tying shoes, but have found ways to accomplish that, and who doesn't like a pedicure Hunh! I garden, mow lawns, wash cars , and do most everything I want to do, including swing dance once a week. I still use a sock aid, and grabbers( mostly for getting things out of the back of the dryer). So having so much of my spine fused isn't perfection, but it's managable, and doesn't hold me back. Having the pain gone, and being able to stand and walk as much as I'd like is worth the trade off to me.
