My only broken hardware was my Harrington rod. It broke because of movement in my spine. I guess my question would be..."what caused it to break in the first place?...and if it broke once, could it break again?" For me, my rod breaking was the result of an underlying problem. I would get a second opinion. It is great that you still have good alignment. You want to make sure that you keep that good alignment in your future. Good luck..................Kathy

Has anyone had any of their hardware break? A recent x-ray should that the rod where it connects to the screw is broken. The doctor said my alignment is still good and just leave it. 2 years post op from revision surgery
