Guest guest
I can't remember if I've introduced myself or not, so here's the brief version. 1992 - scoliodid surgery, 1996 - injured back, 1997 - partial removal of rods, 1997 - microdiskectomy (for herniated disc that occurred in 1996), 2008 - pain suddenly worsed and has continued to get worse since then, now all discs below the fusion are herniated. My pain management has suggested surgery, and referred me to Dr. Rand, who wants to remove the herniated discs, replace them with titanium spacers, correct the curvature of my lumbar spine (I'm constantly tilted forward), and continue my fusion to the sacrum). I also have an appointment scheduled with Dr. Glazer for a second opinion. Are there any other surgeons in Boston I should be considering? If you've had surgery done by either of the above doctors, I would love to hear your impressions on them. Thanks much, -- Curran melissacurran530@... www.beadedrelics.com
