Big step

Finally took the first, big step-made an appointment for an evaluation

with Dr Moreno in Tampa, FL. My symptoms have worsened in the past 6

months and more so in the past month, and now I have excruciating pain

from what appears to be my sciatic nerve being pinched somewhere in my

spine. Wakes me up, makes walking and even sitting difficult. My left

leg tingles and feels numb. Not sure whether I should ask my family doc

for some pain meds to hold me over until the 15th. I've never had to

take anything like that. They have agreed to work with me on the cost

of the evaluation since I am one of the many uninsured folks in the

country and am now not working. Wish me luck! Is there a list of

questions posted somewhere for me to ask Dr Moreno at my evaluation?
