another happy (soon to be) Xolair user

SO... the insurance company came through and approved the Xolair. It

gets shipped on Friday and I get my first shot, bright and early, on

Monday morning. YEA! but as with others I am a bit apprehensive... I

know that this should allow me to resume my 'old' life and for that I

am greatful. (and yes, I know it could take a few more months) but the

steroids were causing me to have hypertension in my eyes, and the

other asthma meds have caused my heart to race (24 hours a day) so

Xolair was approved amazing quickly by my insurance company (only took

4 weeks!)

Thanks for everyone's encouragement. A week ago all the dr's could

tell me was bad news but now I feel like I may have found that bend in

the road. Now to just hear from the cardiologist and everything will

be sunny :-)
