Guest guest
I know how frustrating it is having so much going on that you've got to put something like trying a new med off until you're ready to deal with it. I self-inject. I do always make sure someone is around, even tho I've been doing it for 3 years without any problems. No sense inviting trouble to the door when it comes often enough as it is!! Who is your specialty pharmacy? I have Accredo NOvafactor and I LOVE them. Take good care, Addy --- In , " instdesgn1 " <instdesgn1@...> wrote: > > My Xolair finally arrived - 2 days short of a month since my doctor and > I decided I should try it. Guest guest
Ultimately I ended up with Cura Script although I had a hard time getting the name straight. I thought they were saying Care Script. There was Caremark too that kept screwing up my birthdate (insurance said it was right and I know it was!!!) and I believe some other company too. SPOC said there was something wrong w/my insurance info. The insurance company (a sub of Blue Cross Blue Shield) said they don't do business with those companies - to use Walgreens. When I went to Walgreens they gave me forms to fill out or I could sign up online to use the Walgreens SPECIALTY pharmacy to get xolair. But, then someone told me that Walgreens subcontracts with Cura Script (?) so I really don't know what's going on. I do believe that more than one pharmacy could have gotten it for us. One person at Caremark was really snide when he told me to look at the back of my insurance card and see what drug company was there and that they were competitors of Caremark. Very abrasive - kind've yelling at me. I talked to a CuraScript nurse on the phone who was polite and pleasant - told me what I already knew. My doctor's assistant was very supportive in all this - I told her about all the phone calls - times and dates and who I spoke to and what they said. She followed up too. I've even created a " Xolair " file folder to track all this stuff! My copay is $45 a month. The med is here - in a few weeks I'll find out how I react! --------------------------------- No need to miss a message. Get email on-the-go with for Mobile. Get started. Guest guest
I have been with Cura Script from the beginning and they have always been great. My dr.'s office set everything up so I never had to make one phone or fill out one form to get my scrip. I guess I was lucky. --- In , SD Designer <instdesgn1@...> wrote: > > Ultimately I ended up with Cura Script although I had a hard time getting the name straight.
