Guest guest
Hi All, So if I try to use my chile peppers in making pickled vegetables with kraut, carrots...will it make the whole thing hot? Or should I just do the chiles seperated instead. Cause with all the chiles I planted I am going to end up drying or fermenting the extra. Guest guest
That depends on how much you use, what kind of peppers they are, how they were grown and how ripe they are.. Generally speaking, when you ferment veggies together there is an exchange of flavors that can only be discovered by experimenting or following " tried and true " recipes.. Guest guest
I have different kinds of chiles so am wondering about just making most of them in a chile jar pickled. Any suggestion.
