Guest guest
Our Pollen Count in Middle Georgia is 5937 today. Yep..5937! 120 is considered high. This is the amount of pollen particles measured within the last 24 hours in a cubic meter of air. Major Pollens Present: Pine, Oak, Sweet Gum, Birch, Sycamore & Beech Allergy Tip: The yellow pollen that blankets the area is pine pollen. Pine pollen does not produce a large allergic response. It's the pollen that you don't see that causes the most problem. In this area during the month of April oak is by far and above the major culprit causing allergic symptoms. Source : http://remote.atlantaallergy.com/pollencount/ A couple of years ago I wouldn't have been able to walk around my house without my rescue inhaler. Now I can run upstairs, clean house, do work outside and go to the gym without too much trouble. I do have a bit of wheezing but nothing like I have had in the past during this time of year. My husband, on the other hand, is miserable with sinus pressure, sneezing, watery eyes, coughing and all the other fun stuff. I feel so sorry for him!
