Guest guest
Guess I am now an official member of this wonderful group. I hope xolair works. It's hard for me to imagine a day without coughing. Would you believe that since the asthma dr is having a hard time stopping my coughing and I had some heart tests that showed a slightly enlarged heart (no fake since my BP has been high since I started with the wonders of coughing/asthma back in Sept and my resting heart rate is now at a lovely 110.... went to work out at a wonen's exercise place and got it up to 170 without even trying much.... ) Now there are qustioning if I also have cardiac asthma that has been undiagnosed due to the allergic asthma... and like I had nothing better to do but go to a few more dr's..... Ughhhhhh! what next?? But the shot was easy -- nothing more than a bee sting feeling. No reaction, no redness. I got a litttle nauseous but I think that was because I was nervous and skipped breakfast. The waiting around for 2 hours afterwards was a little boring but I brought my i-pod with lots of tv shows recorded and that helped.
Guest guest
Good luck getting the coughing under control. Let us know what you find out. We all know the feeling about not wanting to go to even one more Dr. Congrats on starting Xolair and keep us posted!
