There are quite a number of SPECIFIC TASKS I have decided to do, but I have NEVER decided to " moderate " in a general way, and I do not do so, in my opinion. Your opinion may differ, this is mine. For the record, I am both unqualified and uninterested in the job. Like many people on the list, I have expressed many opinions, including various concerns about the list. I do write quite a bit, so I feel I also have some influence on and stake in the lists " culture " or " environment " . IMO this also applies to others such as Andy and Dana, who write regularly. [i don't mean that others do NOT also have an influence and stake, just that I think those that write have more of an influence.] I do realize this may be a difficult distinction to make. I also realize that when I express concern about the list, this may lead to confusion about this point, for some readers. However, I do not find it reasonable for me to not comment because people may become confused. I hope this clarification is helpful. My internet access just got back up after being down since Thursday at 2:00 p.m. I had over 700 emails. I didn't sign up for a political opinions list and don't really have much time for that.
