The severe itching and rash start to improve about 2 days later and the rash was completely gone about 3 days after that. I still have some mild itching 7 days after receiving all the meds but it's much much much better and definitely tolerable, which it was not before the meds. It sounds like a good time for you to visit your allergist for help with the rash. Fran

Ran some blood tests and two days later I went on Cipro. And now my EOS(eosinophilis) cells in my blood went to 25%. SO now they had me start Prednisone...again... to bring does the EOS and hopefully help the rash (10 days and counting) go away. Being checked for lots of things but our first notion is a drug allergy -- now to find out which one... I am just getting tired of being ill. On a positive note, Xolair seems to have calmed my cough that I had for 6 months and I haven't had to neb in over a week AND I only used my albuterol inhaler 3 times last week. <<NEW RECORD>> But now I may have to go off it and I really can't function if the cough comes back... bummer! karen
