Swelling and redness after injection

My doctor is extremely careful. Although the numbers are very low,

there have been people reported to have had anaphylactic reactions

after a xolair shot.

He not only requires me to get my shots IN his office; he also

requires a 30 minute wait afterwards.

I am also to keep and up to date an Epi-Pen closeby just in case I

have any reaction over that 30 minute period.
