Xolair approval (again!!!)

Hi everyone!

I am so excited!! You might remember, but the first week of January

my prescribing physician (allergist/immunologist) for Xolair told me

she was taking me off of it and letting my insurance company know.

She said that Manulife (Canadian insurance company) sent her a letter

asking if it was to be extended for another year and she said no!

She then discharged me as a patient as my asthma is too severe for

her to treat.

Well...got a letter in the mail today from Manulife and it indicates

that I am " eligible " for Xolair again! Yipee!!! I am going to FAX it

to my Xolair nurse tomorrow and hopefully there will be no snags in

getting the script refilled. I only get 1 shot per month, and was 1

week late in my January shot.

I am very thankful that my husband has a wonderful drug plan and I do

not pay any out-of-pocket or deductible (co-pay). The Specialty

Pharmacy bills Manulife directly!

I am so excited!!!!!!!!
