Actually, according to the prescribing info, your IgE can be as low as

31 and you can still qualify. One of the things to keep in mind is

that your doctor, Genentech and your insurance company look at more

than just IgE in determining qualification for Xolair. Severity of

symptoms, success/failure on immunotherapy, and dependence on steroids

also play a role in helping your doc decide if your a good candidate.

Once approved, weight and IgE are the factors that determine dosage,

although I know of a couple of folks who take a slightly higher dosage

b/c they did not respond to the " recommended " dosage based on their

weight and IgE

The IgE levels have to be between 30 and 700. Here is a link that lists the
