First off I get my shots once a month and so I was curious, my last

shot was on the 2nd of this month. This friday will be 4 weeks sooo

do I do it this friday or wait til the 2nd which would be Monday? I

think Friday but my husband said insurance may not pay if its more

than once in a month.

Also do you all think it would be an issue if I was wanting to switch

my Xolair to my PCP's office? I need a job like very very very soon

and my allergist is over 30 minutes away and since I have to wait the

mandatory 2 hours it would be soo much easier if I didn't have to

drive back and forth. Also my PCP office doesn't close until 7 pm,

and is open on Saturdays which opens up a whole nother door.

I don't even know if it's possible especially since my allergist was

slightly unnerved when I switched my allergy shots to the PCP and

ended up having an anaphylactic reaction and he couldn't be in charge

of my care because he doesn't have practicing rights at my hospital.

So he had to wait for test results and what not to be forwarded and

since I was intubated I couldn't keep him updated and I guess my

doctor wasn't giving him the updates like he wanted. I literally had

20 messages on my phone when I got home from him calling 3-4 times a

day trying to find out what was going on and my husband was clueless

although he did talk to him a couple times.

I just don't really know what to do, but it wouldn't be worth the

drive up there to commute for a job closer to his office unless it

paid very very well especially with the gas prices. If I don't get

something soon though I will have to discontinue my Xolair because

I've already had to stop getting some of my meds filled because I had

to chose between my Xolair and them. Sooo financially it's killing

us!!
