Guest guest Posted March 16, 2011 Report Share Posted March 16, 2011 I'm not personally against fructose, but I do think it's funny that at about the same time people became against " high fructose corn syrup " they suddenly adopted agave, which is very similar? I don't deal with the issue much because I don't like sweet things especially, but we do go through a lot of honey, which I use for making dipping sauces etc. Honey acts differently in the intestines, or so I'm told. I DO know that if you are trying to make beer, honey takes forever to ferment, which means it doesn't feed yeast very well.
