Fermented CLO does not provide probiotics, just like many other fermented foods. However, fermentation foods assists absorption because they are pre-digested by the fermentation process. For example: in order for soy to be fit for human consumption it must be fermented for many months, but it also does not contain any probiotics. So it depends upon the kind of food that is fermented as to whether it contains probiotics or not. On the other hand, cabbage rejuvelac is loaded with lactobacillus, which is 95% of the good bacteria/probiotics found in the intestines. Liquid Fermented CLO: If you take enough of the " liquid " to get the correct amount of omega-3 it provides too much vitamin D. I couldn't calculate an amount that would be correct for vitamins A & D either, which, if it could be done, would still mean buying omega-3 separately Fermented CLO capsules: You need to take 9 capsules per day, to get the correct amounts of omega-3, vitamins A & D, but the bottle contains only 120 capsules, which means you get 13 days worth of nutrients. I don't think the price is worth it. I think it is better to buy a different kind of CLO. I take Garden of Life Olde World Icelandic CLO which contains natural forms of omega-3, vitamins A & D. There may be others kinds, but someone would need to find out whether they are putting synthetic vitamins A & D in their products. At the moment I don't have the time to check them out. I can assure you that the CLO did not cause your constipation, in fact its all of the good fats, oils, CLO, etc. that help constipation the most. However, when your body gets what it needs it is more able to heal, so it will " retrace " all previous illnesses, symptoms (constipation), diseases, injuries, etc. each and every episode during natural healing. > By the way Bee I am working out again after a few years of zero > energy. I feel like I am going from clark kent to superman.LOL! +++That's wonderul you are feeling like superman! Please don't overdo exercising because it can deplete the body's resources for healing. That's why I recommend mild forms of exercise like dry skin brushing, rebounding on a mini trampoline or walking. Lots of Luv, Bee
Guest guest
Hi Bee, In doing my research on clo, I see Blue Ice Fermented CLO. Is this a more desirable form, or should I just get the regular kind. Thanks, Gloria
