Guest guest
We used to use 33% H2O2 to sterilize ultrapure water lines when I worked in the semiconductor industry. I didn't know it was commercially available. If you use it, be sure to wear eye protection to protect against splashes. The liquid is a very powerful oxidizer, but leaves behind nothing toxic (decomposes to H2O and O2.) I splashed some on my arm once. It didn't hurt, but it instantly turned the skin as white as paper. Apparently it was just the very top layer of dead cells that turned white, because the white residue washed away with water. There was no burn or irritation, but I think it would be dangerous to get it in your eyes.
