Hi Everyone, I have been lurking for a while now and enjoying all your

info..thanks, it helps me to grow :~))

I have a question.. I have been growing and drinking water kefir for 6

months or more and over time my crystals have not been growing at all and

the last time I drained them there was only about a tablespoon left so i no

longer can make and drink my daily favorite drink and I am really really

sad. I bought spring water, added a lemon and sugar let it sit for 24 hours

drained squeezed the lemon in the drained water added ginger to it let it

sit another day in bottles with the airtight stoppers and when I open each

bottle the fizz is unreal and the taste is wonderful... I am so sad ... then

I start all over with the crystals and sugar and new lemon piece...can

anyone please help me to know what went wrong? some said to add a T of

crystals to a cup of water and a T of sugar...some said to add a cup of

crystals to 1/4c sugar and 8 cups of water... I tried many different ways

and they never really grew...always got the fizz and the taste I am craving

as I did drink it everyday and haven't had any for a week now... I don't

know anyone who can give me any to start up again and don't have the extra

money to buy new grains off line but someday I will start and would like to

know a fool proof way to keep them forever.

Thanks for any help

Peace all,
