Hi!

I am with Doug and Addy on this one...no allergic reactions to Xolair.

I have had asthma attacks post-Xolair (eg same day or next) requiring

hospitalization but with good sense my docs and I all agreed they were

brought on by other things (eg cutting pred too fast, smog etc....). I

once had a bruise on my arm.....It would appear the docs in my pulmo

office are still debating how long patients will wait post injection.

Health Canada is mum on the topic.

On the bright side, I want to welcome my xolair nurse, Sylvain, to our

board! That makes for a total of three Canadian members. (Or am I

missing anyone?) Perhaps he will be willing to share his experiences

with us especially as it relates to handing out xolair in a public

health care system!
