Guest guest
A lot of us see an increase in allergy/asthma symptoms as we approach time for the next dose. I found that that stopped after about six months on Xolair. My doc explained told me that I probably keep producing new IgE that still needs to bind to the Xolair, hence the slight increase in symptoms as I approach the next dose. or someone else in the group who was getting a low dose got their doctor and insurance company to approve a " booster " dose between shots and has seen a lot of improvement with that. Good luck, Addy > > I think I've read posts about this before but want to ask again. My > third Xolair shot is set for next Tuesday. Guest guest
I am kind of the same way but have only experieced 6 shots. my dose is 225 and we throw out 75 each time. i am thinking of taking the extra 75 or half of that difference and see if I do better. joannnana <joannnana@...> wrote: > > > > I think I've read posts about this before but want to ask again. Guest guest
Joannana, I have the same IgE as you 225 and the doctor throws away half the tube each time I go in also. Le me know what happens if you try using the extra 75 mg. I have thought about asking the doctor to use the extra medication but so far I have resisted. Thanks Steve Have a Good Day Steve Zimmerman MODERATOR'S NOTE: This group does not sanction changing your treatment plan without first consulting your doctor. ________________________________ From: [mailto: ] On Behalf Of jane mosher Sent: Saturday, February 10, 2007 10:25 AM Subject: Re: [ ] Re: 1 week before next Xolair shot I am kind of the same way but have only experieced 6 shots. my dose is 225 and we throw out 75 each time. i am thinking of taking the extra 75 or half of that difference and see if I do better. joannnana <joannnana@... <mailto:joannnana%40> > wrote: --- In <mailto: %40> , " pyle456 " <coachmac@...> wrote: > > A lot of us see an increase in allergy/asthma symptoms as we approach > time for the next dose.
