Guest guest
I have experienced all the adverse effects stated in the poll. I do not believe they are from Xolair. I take at least 10 different medications, probably at least 5 or more have sleep/energy issues. I believe it would be inaccurate and unfair to blame it on Xolair. Xolair may be a " focus " drug for me because I stick needles in my body every two weeks and receive emails and information on Xolair daily. Some of the other drugs I put in my body, Prednisone for one, have a much higher adverse reaction percentage yet I still take it with out to much questioning and analysis, I have accepted the negative effects and resolved that I need the medications to breath, yet I constantly question Xolair and the possibilities, even though relatively speaking, it is a safe drug, go figure. My only alternative if it was causing me unbearable adverse reactions would be to stop taking it or quit breathing, and my Insurance company would be very happy. The one thing I do blame on Xolair is that I am fat, old, and ugly, gotta be the only explanation, LOL Ron On Apr 2, 2007, at 7:55 PM, pyle456 wrote: > I have created Steve's poll. Guest guest
Well I have always had trouble sleeping at night but I could still function during the day without too much of a problem but since the Xolair the daytime exhaustion is frustrating. Thankfully it only last a week or so. The weight gain is disheartening when you are trying so hard to get rid of it but it hangs on so stubbornly. My face looks like I have been on prednisone long term! I haven't taken Prednisone in quite a while. I refused it the last few times the doctor prescribed it(before Xolair) for me due the problems it causes with my voice. I make my living with my voice and if it doesn't work I don't make money. He got very upset with me and threatened me with the hospitlization but I held firm. I can't talk when having an asthma attack either but that is usually short term. With prednisone it can last for weeks. Thats why I was so excited about Xolair because it contains no steroids. Jeannie
