Guest guest
Hi all, I am just 10 days post posterior cervical fusion (C4-7) and my experience was one of pain, and still pain, but the weakness in my arms is gone- according to the PA that was in surgery the weakness was gone immediately after surgery, as i apparently was fighting them with all the IV's, etc) before I came to. I am feeling more tingling in my hands (both side now -it was just left before the surgery but because of surgical swelling both now) and pain in my shoulders and refering to my arms (because they are trying to keep my head in place when the shoulder muscles are torn/cut/weak from the surgery, and are constantly tightening up)also apparently with larger muscled men (in particular) there is more pain following this type of procedure. But as of the last couple of days I am feeling more human and each day the pain is less - following the restrictions is tough, but I do not want to mess this up and have to go through it again because i am being stupid. Well, i am just glad to be able to get online for a short time. Thanks. More later when i have more time and strength. Mark
