Hi,

Which serotonin drug was your daughter taking and what were effects? Was

it an SSRI like prozac?

Hi Louis,

Where can I get more information on SSRI syndrome? I would like to find out

more about drug interactions. This is the first I've heard of this. I know

there are certain types of drugs that you should not take with SSRI's but I

never knew such a serious reaction could occur.

Carbamazepine, ( " CBZ " ), is an anticonvulsant and mood stabilizing drug used

primarily in the treatment of epilepsy and bipolar disorder. It is also used to

treat ADD, ADHD, schizophrenia, Phantom limb syndrome, Paroxysmal extreme pain

Disorder, and trigeminal neuralgia.

Carbamazepine has been sold under the names Tegretol, Biston, Calepsin,

Carbatrol, Epitol, Equetro, Finlepsin, Sirtal, Stazepine, Telesmin,Teril,

Timonil,

Trimonil, Epimaz, Carbama/Carbamaze(in New Zealand), Hermolepsin (Sweden) and

Degranol (in South Africa)
