Guest guest
Hi ! I suffer from failed back syndrome. If your pain is worse or not any better, it could be failed back syndrome. You will want to talk to a neurologist or neurosurgeon to confirm the diagnosis. If there is something else going on, then it just could be that your surgeon didn't do his job properly. I hope that is not the case! Please keep me posted on what you find out! I will be hoping and praying that it's NOT failed back syndrome! > > > Hey Group > I had a Laminectomy in June08. Guest guest
Hi a, I have failed back surgery syndrome. I had back surgery Dec '05 and my pain has got progressively worse since then. The pain management doc and neurosurgeon have both told me that there is nothing that can be done that I will probably be on pain meds the rest of my life. Sorry for the depressive news, but I know exactly what you're feeling Donna > > > Hey Group > I had a Laminectomy in June08. Since I had It done I have been in > more pain than before. Guest guest
I will put a BIG AMEN to that one! However, I have to add that life is not over at that point. There are still things that you can do to exercise your mind and you will have to learn new ways to do old things so that they are not as painful! It can be done and I'm living proof of it! I have accepted the fact that I will be on pain meds the rest of my life. I have accepted that there are certain things that I just cannot do the way I used to do them, but I have learned new ways of accomplishing the same goals. You will learn them, too! > > > > Hi a, > I have failed back surgery syndrome. I had back surgery Dec '05 and my > pain has got progressively worse since then. Guest guest
Thank You all for your responces. I sent an E-mail with my Phone numbers so we can chatt off line. Again Thank you all!! for your answers and thoughts. Its troubling for anyone with back problems to get answers from Drs, I guess they dont want you to know all the stuff your up against.I thank God that my Primary Dr is giving me pain Releif. She has me on 8-30 mgs OXYIR, 2 every 4 hrs., and 2-30 MG oxicotin at bedtime for overnite releif. I cant take Perocet because in large amounts, because there is too much Tylenol in it, Bad For Liver,!!in large doses. I was on it till the higer dose Oxy IRs came out. Many Drs dont know that Oxy IR is out in bigger strenths, 5 10 15 30 and 80 MGs. its Oxycodone drug without any other stuff in it. Thank you all again. Ill try to keep you all informed. BTW Im 58 Years old and 10 years Post Liver transplant and also have MS. a in Ma. > > > Hi ! I suffer from failed back syndrome.
