When I am assaulted by someone reaking of scent, I bluntly tell them they need to leave my presence or that they need to stay away from me if I am unable to physically remove myself. I think these types of people need to be educated about what their " fragrance " is doing to HURT people. And I don't know about others here but I seem to begin a coughing attack very quickly after being assaulted with strong smells. I don't end up having a delayed attack 2 or 3 or more hours later. When I begin having the attack, if I can speak well enough, I make sure to tell them that I am coughing my guts out due to their perfume. I reallly don't care if it's not nice because they have not been nice to me when bathing in scent whether that was intentional or not. IMO these ignorant ones need to know the high price some of us have to pay for their vanity and I don't mind being the one to teach them. Maybe when they see firsthand the discomfort their vanity causes they might think twice about wearing so much of that stuff in the future. /rant off Quote Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
