Mild and rare Xolair side effects

Just cruising the web this evening about Xolair and came across this article

from the UK. Immediately (within a couple minutes, I think) after my first

injections I did have a tingly (very mild and certainly did not hurt) feeling in

my feet. For the next 24 - 48 hours I noticed that the bottom of my feet seemed

hot which is unusual for me - I usually have cold feet. I also have wanted to

just sleep away - will easily sleep 13 hours if phone doesn't ring, hubby

doesn't get me up and dog doesn't bark!

Do these side effects go away with time? They were really not a problem and

at no time did I feel anything serious was going on - no swelling in or around

my head or wheezing or shortness of breath or rashes. Because I have arthritis

and fibromyalgia I just figured it was one of my many strange sensations but now

I'm suspecting it was Xolair because it happened quite quickly. Of course, I

thought it was because I was excited and nervous about my first shots.

The only other odd sensation (which was also immediate) was a somewhat

frightening sense that something had just taken control of my body - sort've

like being in a clamp but again, absolutely no breathing problems or signs of

anything serious. It was short lived.

The nurse seemed disinterested and I didn't want to seem like a hypochondriac

so haven't mentioned them to my doctor. I still think they're more a novelty

than anything important - there was NO pain!
