Guest guest
Does any one really know WHY we react so overwhelmingly to pollen ? This has been an extremely bumper year here too (especially oak and pine and now grass) and I've had terrible sinus headaches and infections as well as bronchial problems. Why isn't everyone affected by the pollen? What is the real underlying cause of all this? What is the common thread? My doc's office just told me to expect it to take 6 months of xolair before seeing any relief. My goodness, that will be next fall! Right now is when it's a " killer " out there! I wonder if more Xolair would bring relief faster although I'm at nearly the top end - 300 mgs twice a month. As a child I was the only one in my family who had these extreme reactions - my dad had some skin allergies and " post nasal drip " but nothing like I had. I've found allergists to be miserable failures when it comes to allergies (ironic, huh?) and am so glad I have a pulmo I like! --------------------------------- Be a PS3 game guru.
