Guest guest
I have not had an IV w any injection-3 or 4 were fine, all done by residents w doctor in room and w use of guided fluoroscopy. Those were minimally painful. The time b4 last, my inject was extremely painful- we even suspect, since an MRI hadn't been done in a year that theybmight have punctured my disc and the annular sac based on degree of pain and later MRI showing huge herniation and tear. I was jumping off the table in pain and was white, nauseous, and dizzy it hurt so bad..so.... At my clinic (university of Utah orthopedic center) which is well -respected and which they do these every day, the assumption is no IV (u have to ask and no warnings re food intake). Don't know if that helps but... Take care,
