Guest guest
Hey Sam No problem ! no offense taken, just sharin experiences. Just so you are aware there are Hundreds of different ' types ' of Rolfers out there Professionally , some are Very Physical and use alot of force, Others use very very little almost imperceptible pressure that you can barely feel. No different than Like a feather going over your skin, its now gotten that technical and Precise Just as with any Physical Therapy, There is NO 1 set standard style of Rolfing, its evolved alot over the years and the way its practiced today is NOTHING like how it was practiced years ago. Night and Day. it is Constantly evolving and has changed with the times just like ALL therapies have. Fact is Everyone with disc issues Needs proper structural Alignment and Rolfing is simply 1 way to achieve it, its an excellent, Non invasive , totally natural, highly effective way, but its just a way out of many Others. Our goal must be proper correct structural Anatomical alignment, there is no doubt about that, if you can achieve that without Rolfing than go for it ! But Rolfing is the fastest, easiest and most effective way im aware of Dave > > No, Dave, I don't do rolfing. I had a very good friend (bless his soul) > that did rolfing for many years in his practice, and I am quite familiar > with it. And I can promise you that this really isn't something someone > with severe back injuries should be having done. If it's helped you, fine, > but, OMG, sweetie, stop pushing it here in this group. > > Sam >
Guest guest
Dave? Stop it. I could likely teach YOU a thing or 2 about this. ....AND the associated liability issues! Is your rolfer insured? You better hope to gawd he/she is... Why don't you go to one of the 13 rolfing groups on ? You'll likely get better reception there. I swear to gawd, a spine injury support group is just NOT the place for this. I mean, seriously, it's like talking about gutting out a suckling piglet and BBQ'ing it on a vegetarian support group.
