Guest guest
MRI and Xray came back and the nerve pain I have been having is actually a reaction to the BMP used in my fusion. Not really clear what that is but from what I reasearched looked like it could be a bovine protiene that is used in accelerating bone growth? Anyways I had been avoiding an injection because I did not want to increase my risk of aracnoditis. Turns out he could inject right into the inflamation by doing a facet joint injection. Was in quite a bit of pain last night. Took maximum dose Tramadol, Ibuprofen and Tylenol and still was in a ton of pain most of the night. Was the Capsazin cream that finally worked. Was careful not to get it soaking into the bandaid covering the site. For a little while I had abdominal pain that felt like bladder stuff. Drank some cranberry juice and water and eventually it went away. Today I feel much better. Still have my nerve pain though and hoping that it goes away in a week as promised.
