Getting off of Advair

As most of you know, I am a church music minister and my singing voice

is absolutely crucial.

For many years, I have had a raspy sound to my singing voice. After

having major cervical fusion surgeries in my neck since 1998 (more

than likely caused by many years on Prednisone), my voice seemed to be

getting worse.

I traveled to a singing/vocal specialist in Nashville TN, 2 weeks ago

to find out just what the problem is.

I was told that my neck surgeries were NOT the problem but Advair

could be a major cause of my problem. The doctor told me that if all

possible to quit taking it. This seems logical since my voice started this

raspiness just about the time I started taking Advair.

My allergist told me that I could try getting off of it and so far, I

have not needed it at all. After a little vocal therapy and NO

Advrair, my voice tone is improving :)

Once again, thanks to Xolair, one more asthma medicine seems to be history :)
