Hey Barbara, please tell us all about your recliner. I have never heard of one.

How expensive was it? I'm thinking of getting a Sleep Number bed. Has anyone

here tried it?

Best, Des

for awhile i am happy. i got it on Monday. it goes above your heart when it

reclines. it says it can decompress nerves so we will see. nothing else had

helped.

The sleep number beds have very bad reviews. It seems their pumps go

out fairly frequently and they do not always honor the guarantee. I

would do more research before putting out such a sum for something that

may not be worth it.

I’ve had my Select Comfort sleep number bed for 2 yrs and love it. Knock on

wood, I haven’t had a problem yet. However I think what I most like is that I

got the system that allows the head and foot of the bed to be raised and lowered

(like a hosp bed). This can be gotten for many different types of matresses and

I highly recommend it. I also got the massage component and wouldn’t recommend

it as I don’t use it often enough to justify the cost. My bed is almost too

comfortable, as I go back to it to read the paper etc throughout the day since I

can get in the best positions for pain relief on it. Best wishes to all, Kate

I tried the sleep number bed and lie I. However, it is noisy and would wake up

your partner if you refill during the night.

Why should you have to refill it during the night? Curious as we looked

into one but the bad reviews really scared us off.

Never tried that, but the memory foam mattresses do help with carious

aches and pains.

We were on the topic of beds a few weeks ago and memory foam was brought up. I

couldnt afford a memory foam matteress at the time but I went to target and

spent a hundred on a memory foam pillow top and its been amazing. First good

night sleep I had since the surgery that night ad I've been happy with it ever

since.

I have an adjustable bed with a massager in it. I bought it about 11

years ago after my 2nd shoulder surgery then my neck blew out that summer 00.

At first I slept in a recliner for 6 months which I rented, returned the

recliner and bought the bed after I found out I couldn't sleep flat anymore.

When I lived at home the massager used to shake the china in the hall

closet upstairs and would wake the whole house up, then after I moved out it

was second floor apartments, depending on how old the building was it would

piss off the neighbors below. I live in a mobile home now with no one above

or below me thank goodness and no 2.5 ft hole in my ceiling like there was

when I left Va Beach.
