Good for you! I am the same way now. I can do so much

more outside for a greater length of time than before.

I do still need my inhaler every now and then but not

nearly as much as I normally did this time of year.

Re: your RN's comment about AMA. I don't think she's thought it

through. Although the doctor's office's intention is only to cover

their butts, if your insurance company requests office records, as

often is the case, they will see the AMA notation in the office note.

Then the possible dire consequences other group members have

described may well play out. IMHO you're risking an awful lot to go

that route.

Write something out and have the DOCTOR sign it. That RN doesn't have

the authority to say that.

Remember doesn't matter what they say, if you have nothing on paper

for an appeals process.

Nan--->hospital matra, if it wasn't written down, it never happened.

PS nothing like a deposition, under oath to make one totally paranoid

about charting and medical legalize.
