Guest guest Posted April 9, 2007 Report Share Posted April 9, 2007 My itching remained mild with no other symptoms for about 36 hours after getting the xolair shot, then went away. I did finally call my doctor and will go in to see him on Monday to discuss whether I will be able to try anymore shots safely. He told me to keep my epipen and family close by this weekend and to hit the ER if things got worse, but I had no further problems. I appreciate the input from the forum members. This is an informative site. I only saw one other post from someone who had not been able to continue the shots, so clearly side effects aren't usually bad enough to have to stop.
